Full surah readerRead the surah from start to endPreviousNextAyah 11وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰBy the star when it descendsSave ayahMark memorizedAyah 22مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰYour companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erredAyah 33وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓNor does he speak from [his own] inclinationAyah 44إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيٞ يُوحَىٰIt is not but a revelation revealedAyah 55عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰTaught to him by one intense in strengthAyah 66ذُو مِرَّةٖ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰOne of soundness. And he rose to [his] true formAyah 77وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰWhile he was in the higher [part of the] horizonAyah 88ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰThen he approached and descendedAyah 99فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰAnd was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearerAyah 1010فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰAnd he revealed to His Servant what he revealedAyah 1111مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓThe heart did not lie [about] what it sawAyah 1212أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰSo will you dispute with him over what he sawAyah 1313وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰAnd he certainly saw him in another descentAyah 1414عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰAt the Lote Tree of the Utmost BoundaryAyah 1515عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓNear it is the Garden of RefugeAyah 1616إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰWhen there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]Ayah 1717مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰThe sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]Ayah 1818لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓHe certainly saw of the greatest signs of his LordAyah 1919أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّـٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰSo have you considered al-Lat and al-'UzzaAyah 2020وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓAnd Manat, the third - the other oneAyah 2121أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰIs the male for you and for Him the femaleAyah 2222تِلۡكَ إِذٗا قِسۡمَةٞ ضِيزَىٰٓThat, then, is an unjust divisionAyah 2323إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءٞ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓThey are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidanceAyah 2424أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰOr is there for man whatever he wishesAyah 2525فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰRather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]Ayah 2626۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓAnd how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will not avail at all except [only] after Allah has permitted [it] to whom He wills and approvesAyah 2727إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰIndeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female namesAyah 2828وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـٔٗاAnd they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at allAyah 2929فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَاSo turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly lifeAyah 3030ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰThat is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guidedAyah 3131وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىAnd to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward]Ayah 3232ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةٞ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓThose who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears HimAyah 3333أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰHave you seen the one who turned awayAyah 3434وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلٗا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓAnd gave a little and [then] refrainedAyah 3535أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓDoes he have knowledge of the unseen, so he seesAyah 3636أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰOr has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of MosesAyah 3737وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓAnd [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]Ayah 3838أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰThat no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of anotherAyah 3939وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰAnd that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strivesAyah 4040وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰAnd that his effort is going to be seenAyah 4141ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰThen he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompenseAyah 4242وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰAnd that to your Lord is the finalityAyah 4343وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰAnd that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weepAyah 4444وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَاAnd that it is He who causes death and gives lifeAyah 4545وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰAnd that He creates the two mates - the male and femaleAyah 4646مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰFrom a sperm-drop when it is emittedAyah 4747وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰAnd that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creationAyah 4848وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰAnd that it is He who enriches and sufficesAyah 4949وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰAnd that it is He who is the Lord of SiriusAyah 5050وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰAnd that He destroyed the first [people of] 'AadAyah 5151وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰAnd Thamud - and He did not spare [them]Ayah 5252وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰAnd the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressingAyah 5353وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰAnd the overturned towns He hurled downAyah 5454فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰAnd covered them by that which He coveredAyah 5555فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰThen which of the favors of your Lord do you doubtAyah 5656هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓThis [Prophet] is a warner like the former warnersAyah 5757أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُThe Approaching Day has approachedAyah 5858لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌOf it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no removerAyah 5959أَفَمِنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ تَعۡجَبُونَThen at this statement do you wonderAyah 6060وَتَضۡحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبۡكُونَAnd you laugh and do not weepAyah 6161وَأَنتُمۡ سَٰمِدُونَWhile you are proudly sportingAyah 6262فَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلَّهِۤ وَٱعۡبُدُواْ۩So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]
